Position: Engineer, Vibration Specialist

Responsible to focus on vibration and alignment diagnostics and solutions for mechanical and electrical problems generated in large frame industrial rotating equipment, such as Steam, Gas, and Aero-Derivative Turbines, Generators, Compressors, Electric Motors, Expanders, and Pumps. Perform vibration data analysis and advanced vibration diagnostics. Install and calibrate vibration monitoring systems. Organize, clean, calibrate, and service critical electronic equipment required to perform field services.

Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Robotics, or related field. 2 years of experience in job offered or engineering. Any amount of experience in the additional requirements section below will be acceptable. Additional requirements: Prior academic background or work experience to include: 1) Experience with rotating machinery and ancillary equipment. 2) Experience with rotating steam pressurized machinery. 3) Experience with preventative, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance. 4) Experience with compressor machinery.

Job Location:
Baton Rouge Louisiana – eligible for telecommuting. Up to 75% travel required; employer will reimburse all business travel-related expenses.
