CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Position: Field Service Operations Manager

Duties:
Responsible to focus on vibration and alignment diagnostics and solutions for mechanical and electrical problems generated in large frame industrial rotating equipment, such as Steam, Gas, and Aero-Derivative Turbines, Generators, Compressors, Electric Motors, Expanders, and Pumps. Perform vibration data analysis and advanced vibration diagnostics. Install and calibrate vibrations monitoring systems. Organize, clean, calibrate, and service critical electronic equipment required to perform field service. Provide expert advice on complicated machine problems when encountered by other Engineers. Manage customers’ requests, including scheduling service and assigning the appropriate Engineer to the project. Oversee Project Accountant who develops quotes, records expenses, and generates invoices.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Robotics, Engineering, or related field. 3 years of experience in job offered or engineering. Any amount of experience in the additional requirements section below will be acceptable. Additional requirements: Prior academic background or work experience to include: 1) Experience with rotating machinery and ancillary equipment. 2) Experience with rotating steam pressurized machinery. 3) Experience with preventative, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance. 4) Experience with machinery vibration diagnostics.

Job Location:
Baton Rouge Louisiana – eligible for telecommuting. Up to 75% travel required; employer will reimburse all business travel-related expenses.
